Locals call the view from Rothorn “the chocolate-box side of the Matterhorn”. No wonder: the view from Rothorn at 3103 m offers the best panorama of the surrounding mountains. One four-thousand-metre peak after another is spread at your feet – a unique panorama!
But the mountains in the Zermatt-Matterhorn holiday region are not just there to be admired. On the contrary! Summer and winter, they offer ideal conditions for experiences that you will treasure for a long time to come. At Rothorn there are numerous holiday activities on the list: from hiking and biking in summer to snowshoe trekking and skiing in winter.
A tip for art lovers: The Peak Collection on Rothorn is an art experience you will never forget. The exhibition of original works installed around the mountain restaurant all year round captures the imagination of guests from far and wide.
