Wolli's Fun Park in summer
The short trip from the mountain station to Wolli’s Fun Park with the self-service Leisee Shuttle is already an experience in itself. Not to mention all the fun awaiting families when they get there. Most important: the play equipment. The park wouldn’t be complete without classics such as slides, climbing frames and swings amongst other equipment.
A particular hit is the wooden raft to haul yourself over to Leisee on a cable. The lake also has a bathing beach. If you feel hungry, you can make a bite to eat at one of the barbecue sites or have a picnic in the shade of the pavilion. The well-equipped fireplaces with seating are also an invitation to barbecue in the open air.
... And then of course there’s Wolli, the fluffy mascot whose home is Sunnegga.
Themed hiking trails on Sunnegga
It’s great to combine a visit to Zermatt’s Wolli’s Park with a gentle ramble on one of the themed hiking trails. There are two family-friendly trails leading from Sunnegga to Blauherd. You get to see cute marmots, shy chamois and rare alpine plants.
Wolli's Beginners Park in winter
Child-friendly pistes are the name of the game when it comes to family skiing days. Wolli’s Beginners Park is excellent for training children of all ages. The park is tops because it is sheltered from the wind in a sunny position, but also thanks to its unique training facilities: Five magic carpets (snow conveyors) and a range of play equipment are ideal for a child to learn the joy of skiing. The park is easy to reach on the self-service Leisee Shuttle departing from Sunnegga.
