… will drive all sorrow and care away. As you board the gondola the smell of freshly baked bread will welcome you. The table is laid with regional delicacies. As the sun rises, you will float upwards and enjoy a delicious meal to your heart’s content. And at the intermediate stations there are more Swiss specialties waiting for you.
Amidst all the delicious food don’t forget to enjoy the view of the Matterhorn and its fellow peaks. Or should we put it the other way around? The Zermatt mountain panorama, lit by the first rays of sun, can easily make you forget everything else around you.
The trip to Trockener Steg (via Furi and Schwarzsee) and back to Zermatt takes about 70 minutes. Every gondola is reserved for four people – so why not surprise your best friends or the family?
